Domino brings the classic tile game online as a brisk head-to-head. Players take turns setting down tiles with matching numbers end to end, and the first to shed every tile wins the round.
What makes Domino different
Domino is a quieter game than most on the app, and far more about counting. A standard double-six set holds 28 tiles, and tracking which numbers have already hit the table hints at what your opponents are sitting on.
When a choice has you stuck, play the tile that keeps your options open — one that leaves numbers you still hold sitting on the open ends.
Counting is easier than it sounds. Every number from 0 to 6 sits on exactly seven tiles. So if five tiles showing a 4 are already down and you hold none, just two 4s remain among the other players. That is often enough to work out who is about to get stuck.
Blocked rounds are decided on pips — the dots on whatever tiles are left in each hand. The full set carries 168 pips, and the 6-6 alone is worth 12. Being caught with the double-six when the table locks up is the priciest way to lose a round, which is why offloading heavy doubles early pays off.
Online, a turn timer sets the pace instead of players chatting around a table. Use your opponents' turns to study the open ends and line up your next tile, so a short clock never bounces you into a rushed move.

Frequently asked questions
How many tiles are in a domino set?
A standard double-six set has 28 tiles, running from 0-0 all the way to 6-6.
What happens when nobody can play?
The round is blocked. Usually whoever holds the lowest pip count takes it, but check the table rules in the game, since draw and block rules differ between versions.
Is online Domino luck or skill?
A bit of both. The deal is random, but counting tiles and choosing which ends to leave open decide plenty of close rounds.
